For the last few years we have organised extended trips lasting for several days to areas of interest. The tours offer the opportunity to get to know more about interesting places and sites with a group of like-minded individuals. Traveling as a group allows us to organise guides and sometimes allows us to see things normally off-limits to the general public.
So far we have travelled to:
- Pompeii and the Bay of Naples (2008)
- Hadrian’s Wall (2009)
- Malta (2010)
- Pembrokeshire (2011)
- Normandy and Brittany (2012)
2013 Trip – The Cinque Ports
This year’s trip is to the Cinque Ports and will be from Friday 14th June to Thursday 20th June. The program will include visits to all of the Cinque ports (Rye, Winchelsea, New Romney, Hythe, Dover and Deal), Hastings, Battle Abbey, Richborough Roman Fort and much more. All periods of history will be represented in what promises to be a packed programme.
