2013 Trips
For 2013 we have the following trips arranged:
-
May 11th – St Mary’s Church, Hartley Witney and Andwell Brewery
A grand day is in prospect, starting with a guided visit to the redundant chuch of St Mary’s just outside Hartley Witney to view its medieval wall paintings. Following the visit to St Mary’s there will be an optional visit to Olivers Restaurant for a Fish and Chip lunch before we round off the afternoon with a guided tour of Andwell Brewery.
If you are interested in joining this trip, please contact us
-
Stonehenge Landscape Walk
In the summer months, we shall be organising a walking tour of the Stonehenge landscape, taking in the barrow fields and the Cursus with a view to putting Stonehenge in context.
More information will follow.
If you would like to suggest a place to visit, then please post a suggestion. If you would be prepared to organise the visit, then that would be even better.
